Shehbaz calls PML-N meeting

From Sardar Shahab
LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President, Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday summoned workers convention to clarify party’s unconditional support for Army Act amendment bill. According to sources in PML-N, Shehbaz Sharif contacted senior leaders of party to remove reservations and anger found within party workers regarding unconditional support for army act without prior consultations. He directed party leaders to arrange workers conventions to remove reservations of party workers and members of assemblies. The party President also directed leaders to inform workers that purpose to support amendment bill was to strength the army as an institute and PML-N foiled government’s attempt to make army controversial.
